Gym Rules

Axiom CrossFit Gym Rules

The following rules are to be adhered to by all members of the gym, regardless of your skill level or experience. Axiom Fitness wants the gym to run efficiently and to cultivate a community of friendship, respect, and positivity. Do your part by following these simple rules:

  1. Check your ego at the door
  2. Respect those who scale the WOD - We would rather they do the movements properly and safely than injuring themselves through poor form.
  3. Be respectful of the coaches - They are the ones who have the knowledge, teaching experience, and the foresight to know how to train the class.
  4. Clean up after yourself - Pick-up any weights, equipment, personal belongings, or trash you leave behind.
  5. Don't drop the barbell - If you don't have weights on a barbell, please don't drop them on the floor. They can be damaged easily.
  6. Sanitize the equipment - If you sweat, please spray or wipe down your equipment with the sanitizing spray/wipes.
  7. Don't spread germs - If you're sick, please stay home. No one else wants to get sick.
  8. Wash your hands - Before you get in your car, please wash your hands. The equipment and floor may have some nasty stuff we don't want you bringing home.
  9. Watch your mouth - Please be cognizant there may be little ones wandering around the gym.
  10. Do your best to be on time for class - We want you to get properly warmed-up prior to the workout.
  11. Introduce yourself to newcomers - It can be intimidating for people to enter into a CrossFit gym. Embrace and welcome newcomers. After all, you were new once too.
